**Job Title:** Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon**Job Specialty:** Surgery - Orthopedic Trauma**Job Duration:** Permanent**Shift:** Day Shift - 3x12 Hours (7am - 7pm)**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 Hours per Week**Experience:** 2+ years of work experience in Orthopedic Trauma preferred**License:** Active MI license, or in process of obtaining highly preferred**Certifications:** Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery from ABOS Fellowship-trained in Orthopedic Trauma**Must-Have:** Certification from the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery (ABOS)**Job Description:** We are seeking a highly motivated Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to join and expand our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background and be a team player dedicated to providing excellent patient care. Responsibilities include:- Play a pivotal role in providing specialized care focused on polytrauma, acute fractures, complex joint injuries, fractures of pelvis and extremities, nonunion and malunions, bone infections, and other musculoskeletal traumas for patients of all ages.- Contribute expertise in diagnosing, treating, and surgically managing complex conditions to improve the quality of life for patients.- Collaborate within a dynamic healthcare environment, working with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care and contribute to advancements in Orthopedic Surgery.- Access and utilize the Stryker MAKO robot.- Provide comprehensive pre- and post-operative care to patients.- Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure a seamless patient experience.- Exhibit strong clinical skills and judgment.- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Show commitment to providing excellent patient care.- Call responsibility equates to about 4 calls per month.- Engage in an on-campus partnership with a rehabilitation hospital, offering both inpatient and outpatient therapies.- Not accepting locum candidates.- Open to H-1B candidates; however, J-1 waivers cannot be accepted.
