Position Information: WakeMed Physician Practices is a multi-specialty group with over 450 physicians in a variety of specialty areas. Our organization places a high value on quality, caring and compassionate physicians and we are committed to providing state-of-the-art health care to our patients and the community we serve.

Currently seeking a Plastic Surgeon with Fellowship Training in Microsurgery and Lymphedema Management. A Plastic Surgeon with a Special Interest and well trained in Acute Burn Care and Burn Reconstruction would be preferable. Practice involves the full spectrum of reconstructive surgery, from head to toe, the skin and its contents. Call is every third day, every third weekend. Requires coverage of 3 hospitals within the health care system. Affiliation with University of North Carolina and Campbell University. Clinical Faculty position may be available. Interests in teaching will be considered a plus due to rotating surgical residents and medical students. Opportunity for clinical research is also available. We are supported by a strong APP program.

    Experience Requirements: Fellowship/Internship/Residency - Related Area Required.

    Education Required: Doctorate Medicine Required.

    Licensure/Certification Requirements: Licensed Medical Physician And Board Certification in Area of Practice Required.

    Hours of Work: Rotating 40+ per week.

    Weekend Requirements: As Needed.
