What You'll Do.
As part of our team, you'll work closely with plasma donors, ensuring safety and quality at every step of the donation process.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting donor screenings, including vital signs, arm checks, and finger sticks for testing.
- Performing eligibility assessments by reviewing medical histories, physical exams, and donor consent processes.
- Counseling donors on test results and managing donor investigations.
- Responding to medical emergencies in collaboration with the Center Medical Director.
- Maintaining compliance with state, federal, and company regulations.
What We're Looking For?
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: At least 1 year of work experience preferred.
- Licensure: Active LPN, LVN, or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) certification in the state of employment.
- Certifications: CPR certification is required.
- Skills: Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills, with a commitment to confidentiality and professionalism.
Physical Requirements:
This role requires frequent movement, occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds, and the ability to sit for extended periods.
Work Environment:
You'll work in a moderate-noise environment with occasional exposure to freezing temperatures and occupational bloodborne pathogen risks.
