A healthcare facility in Snellville, GA, needs a medical physicist to join its radiation oncology team and provide physics consultations to all radiation oncology personnel concerning patient care and treatment aspects. We seek a qualified Medical Physicist with a Master's or PhD in medical physics and board certification in therapeutic radiological physics. Exceptional candidates who have completed ABR part 2 will also be considered. All candidates must be eligible to obtain an HDR RAM license in Georgia. Our Snellville site features a Varian True Beam, Align RT, Varian Gammamed HDR afterloader, and GE Lightspeed CT. We use Aria (v16) and Eclipse AAA (v16.1)
across all sites. Our QA tools include IBA Blue Phantom II, Mapchecks, Daily QA3s, IC Profilers, Mobius 3D, and Clearcheck, with Mobius FX for IMRT/VMAT QA. The site offers HDR, SBRT, and SRS therapies and houses one of the largest prostate seed implant programs in the Southeast.

Estimated Pay
The facility provides a competitive range of compensation for this position. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors, including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.
The Pay Range for this position is $180,000,00 - $240,000.00. It is possible that this position can be hired outside of this salary range based on experience.
