Job Description:

Texas Oncology is seeking a Certified Medical Physicist to join our East Texas Physics POD, working alongside four physicists and six dosimetrists. The POD has 6 Varian Linacs (1 TrueBeam, 1 Novalis TX, 3 IX series, one 2100-C series) and 2 Nucletron HDR programs. We utilize Eclipse, BrainLab, VariSeed, Oncentra, Mosaiq, and RadCalc. Our advanced programs include SBRT, SRS, HDR, LDR, and radiopharmaceuticals. We offer extensive professional development opportunities through vendor webinars, journal clubs, and company-wide committees.

Requirements:

MS or PhD in Physics/Medical Physics from an accredited institution

2-5 years' experience in radiation oncology physics

Current ABR certification or in the process (completed part 1)

Valid Texas state license for medical physics

Estimated Pay

The facility provides a competitive range of compensation for this position. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors, including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.

The Pay Range for this position is $200,000.00 – $260,000.00. Based on experience, it is possible that this position can be hired outside of this salary range.
