Pick Pack Technician -3rd Shift - $21.89/hour plus $1.00/hour shift differentialWho we are looking for:We are currently searching for a Pick Pack Technician to be based out of Harvey, IL. The job will be either 2nd or 3rd shift jobs (3pm-11pm or 11pm-7am), M-F, occasional Saturdays. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Pick Pack Technician will be responsible for to pick, check and process all material. The ideal candidate will have 2 years' experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Experience in lean manufacturing or business system-based company is a plus.What you'll do:
- Operate a handheld scanner
- Pick, check and process all material
- Transport, store and stack all materials
What you'll bring:
- Experience in industrial manufacturing
- Strong sense of time organization and sense of urgency, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Operation of a handheld scanner and utilization of a variety of printed work instructions as part of daily work assignment
- Ability to pass the post offer employment process with drug screen
Within 3 months, you'll:
- Show progress and/or complete job specific training
- Be well-versed in Atkore's Business System and the importance of your role to daily operations
- Gain a basic understanding of required duties and job expectations.
