Description: There are 2 different roles within this position. Each of the contingent workers will be assigned to one of these roles, however, they will both be trained on each role and will move around depending on the needs of the business. The first role is in the picking side of the warehouse. This role involves waking a cart with 10-15 empty labelled boxes through the warehouse and picking the items needed for each order. The worker will use a radio frequency gun to find where each item is in the warehouse and to verify that they have selected the correct item. The items they are packing range from desktop printer parts to vary large printing press parts. The second role is in the packing area. This role involves boxes coming to a series of desks that are equipped with shipping software and the worker processing those boxes one at a time. The worker will fill the boxes with a paper substance that keeps the parts from moving around too much, they will then print the label, seal the box, and put it down a slide onto a conveyer belt that takes the box to a truck. These candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and be on their feet all day. They will be moving boxes all day and get a paid break every 2 hours. After 4 hours they will get an unpaid lunch break. The manager is looking for someone who has strong English speaking/reading skills. This person should be able to be fast and accurate working with their hands. Any kind of picking/packing experience is helpful, but not necessary. there is free parking. They have a security gate that the worker will receive a badge for once they begin their assignment
