Picking Associates are responsible for ensuring that all orders are filled accurately in different areas of the facility.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate PIT Order Picker
- Understand the operating system used in the department
- Pick parts to fill customer orders.
- Inspect parts for damage.
- Package parts.
- Sort parts to each lane/area that is printed on label.
- Keep assigned work area clean.
- Troubleshoot for inventory errors
- Replenish supplies on assigned PIT/pick cart
- Assist others to complete assigned work on time.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Job requires basic reading, writing and math skills.
- Must be a team player, flexible, and motivated.
- Must have the initiative and discipline to work with limited supervision.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 6 months experience in a similar position
- Experience with the workflow for the department.
- Experience operating PIT Order Selecting equipment.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Must be able to routinely lift packages 35 lbs. or less on a consistent basis
- Must be able to team lift any package greater than 35 lbs. but less than 71 lbs.
- Must be able to handle repetitive movements like pushing, pulling, bending down and lifting of packages/totes/materials.
- Must be able to manually move packages from one place to another. Whether it be from equipment to conveyor, from pack table to pallet, or from one side of the business to another.
- Must be able to spend long periods of time on your feet (8-10 hours)
