Job Description:

Summary

Ensures daily warehouse and logistics duties run smoothly and efficiently. Responsible for picking of all

customer orders. Receives, counts and put-away product to maintain an accurate inventory. Ensures

compliance with all safety procedures and standards in the warehouse.

Authority

The Picking Technician has the authority to perform all tasks and duties as assigned herein. Authority to

stop work which permits any employee at any level to halt a job or task when a hazardous situation

appears imminent or the feel unsafe.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Pick orders utilizing both handheld scan gun and manual process
  • Receives inbound freight from various carries while ensures accuracy and entering received goods into SAGE and Raw receipt log.
  • Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the warehouse, (includes keeping it clear and free of debris and ensuring efficient use of space).
  • Put away finished goods and supplies into appropriate primary locations.
  • Inspect and maintain all mechanical lift equipment and pallet jackets.
  • Manage all Interactions with a focus on providing world class service.
  • Assist with inventory inquiries and annual physical count
  • Other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements

Medium Work (Equivalent of lifting approximately 50 pounds with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 pounds.) Job includes Bending, crouching, kneeling, lifting, reaching, standing (prolonged periods), and walking (prolonged periods).

Seasonal Position:This is a temporary role, with the duration dependent on business needs. While seasonal employment typically lasts 3 to 6 months, the exact timeframe cannot be guaranteed.

Selected candidate will be able to choose their shift out of the following options: 7AM-11AM M-F; 8AM-12PM M-F; 10AM-2PM M-F; 1PM-4PM M-F

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Required –

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to follow safety precautions
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Accurate data entry skills and attention to details
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to follow established policies, procedures, and guidelines
  • The ability to remain flexible in response to fluctuating workload

Preferred –

  • Warehouse experience
  • Prior forklift or Reach truck experience
  • Inventory process knowledge
