- This position requires the ability to multitask within a high-volume concierge contact center setting.
- The pharmacy technician will assist in providing pharmacy services. Other related skills may be required to perform this job.
QUALIFICATIONS : Top 3 Required Skills/Experience:
Ability to process Coverage Determination Requests within CMS Timeframes Ability to communicate all pharmacy benefits both verbally and written Ability to have strong attention to detail while multitasking within a high demand environment Required Skills/Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Pharmacy Retail, PBM, Hospital, Managed Care
- Experience with Microsoft Programs (Outlook, Excel, Word, Access)
- Knowledge of prescription drug names, therapeutic classes and claims processing
- Knowledge of Privacy Regulations
- Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB) preferred
- Two years pharmacy experience working under a license pharmacist or completion of certified pharmacy technical program
- Working knowledge of third-party claims process
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Medicare Part D Experience
- Contact Center Experience
- Knowledge of CMS/NCQA regulations
- Knowledge of pharmacy claims processing
Education/Certifications - Include:
- High school diploma or GED
- 2 years of college preferred
