Essential Responsibilities:

• Take responsibility for an assigned group of patients, ensuring their care is effectively managed.
• Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments. Update physician orders when necessary.
• Assist physicians in the examination of patients and the performance of minor diagnostic procedures and treatments.
• Obtain and monitor physiological data from patients, identifying any significant changes and intervening when necessary.
• Administer medications as prescribed, including initiating, regulating, and monitoring intravenous infusions and blood products.
• Deliver competent and compassionate patient care in accordance with hospital policies.
• Collaborate with patients and their families to share the care plan, and ensure understanding of hospital procedures and discharge instructions.
• Refer patient care needs to the appropriate personnel and specialists.
• Delegate tasks to support staff, ensuring quality care is maintained.

General Responsibilities:

• Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the efficient and effective functioning of the healthcare team.
