In addition, Palmetto Bluff has an extensive nature preserve, walking trails, retail shopping, and a vibrant village, all which pay homage to the region's rich heritage.Summary:The Pilates Instructor will provide personal attention and professional state-of-the-art instruction that significantly contributes to each member's health and fitness goals. Essential Job Functions:
- Ensure a safe energetic and structured class format
- Ability to lead minimum 2 or more classes Pilates Reformer classes per week
- Provide a high level of personalized attention to guests before, during and after class
- Assist with the cleanliness of the exercise class studios and the maintenance of the exercise class equipment; monitor the cleanliness and safety of the fitness center and the maintenance of the equipment.
- Ability to demonstrate effective one-on-one equipment instruction
- Energetic, friendly, positive, and motivational teaching style
- Focus on customer service with ability to build strong relationships with members
- Conducts private, duet or additional Pilates sessions as needed
- Dedicated, reliable, and punctual.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Minimum of two years' experience in fitness instruction.
- Experience teaching group mat Pilates classes
- Current full apparatus Pilates Certification with a minimum of 500 hours
- Preferred Private Club experience
- CPR/First Aid certified preferred.
Physical Requirements:Position requires walking and giving direction most of the working day; must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 6 hours in length. Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning tasks.
