ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned depending upon operational needs.The running of the different trials performed in the Pilot Lab requires flexibility on the part of all personnel as operations change depending upon the processes. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Understand and follow established safety, quality, and other rules of the plant as well as general company policies
- Act as a player in safety
- Responsible for reading and understanding safety data sheets for chemicals or ingredients used in the process
- Learn all equipment in Process.
- Follow established process and CIP procedures, make adjustments on the processes or processing equipment, manually or through a central processing computer to provide accurate results
- Follow production schedule
- Perform sanitation on equipment, infrastructure, grounds, and other assigned areas
- Record and maintain accurate written and electronic information for all the processes and CIP's, or any other document required by company to regulate parameters, procedures and equipment through basic analysis, simple calculations and computer controls
- Notify Supervisor/Manager of equipment failures and when major process problems or deviations in the process are detected
- Participate in first level maintenance
- Interact with other departments (sampling at RSYC / BSNAC plants, brigging samples to RSYC lab)
- Cover shifts as scheduled
- Filling in for absences. Work is assigned depending upon operational needs
- Communicate and interact with other employees and management personnel in a respectful and effective manner
