JRT is currently recruiting for a unique position in the Tri-Cities. Initially, we are looking for candidates that are interested in cutting, fitting and pressing stainless pipe 2 inches and less. Pipe larger than two inch must be TIG welded. Candidates could be doing either process. Opportunities for long term employment exist with JRT. Per Diem is available for individuals from outside the area.

Job Description:

• Press or weld and fit pipe stainless steel pipe
• Fit and install threaded pipe
• Individuals that will be welding as well as press fitting will be required to pass a stainless TIG pipe test in the 6G position
• Able to fit up piping in preparation to be pressed or welded
• Read blueprints, plans, and shop drawings
• Clean and clear debris and hazardous material from pipes as needed
• Includes installation of piping supports such as hanger/strut/all-thread etc.
• Willing to help other trades as needed

• Work located in the Tri Cities, Washington

Wages: Up to $50 an hour depending on experience and quality of welding skills. JRT offers traveling fitters $120 a day per diem.
