Baker Underground, Inc. is a utility contractor specializing in Public projects between with local municipalities and operators of Water, Sanitary Sewer, and Stormwater Discharge systems. Founded in 2019, we seek leaders who are willing to learn our process and align the company for continued growth and an employee aligned ownership transition over the next 5-10 years. Experience with Piping, Services, Structures, Trench Safety, Site Management, Erosion Control, Asphalt, and Concrete is necessary. Safe, conscientious employees who are willing to put in the hard-work and dedication that growth and success require are welcome. You must have reliable transportation to job sites generally located within the Piedmont Triad region of North Carolina. Foremen are provided with a work-truck for the benefit of the crew's efficient operation.Safety is the Priority; unsafe practices will not be tolerated. Baker Underground maintains the highest regard for the same return of each employee to their family each night. The misuse or lack of proper shoring to maintain a safe work environment has, and will continue, to result in the termination of employees. All applicants are expected to have familiarity, if not recent training as a competent person for excavation safety and confined space in construction.Work starts at 7:00am on job sites daily Monday - Friday with occasional Saturday work. Physical endurance in dirty, outdoor conditions with all types of weather is required. All operators are also utility workers, equipment operation is not guaranteed for any employee.
