Position Responsibilities:
* Read and understand plans
* Perform all tasks involved with all pipe installation
* Set grade to install sewer/storm manholes
* Prepare excavation for installation of sewer/storm manholes
* Collaborate with and mentor entry level team members
* Competently and efficiently perform all duties of a loader hand, excavator backfill hand and top hand.
* Assist operator with setting up a job- and job-related paperwork
* Hauling Materials - moving materials and tools to and from storage and the job site.
* Prepare tools so they are ready for the next step in the process.
* Starting, inspection and maintenance of equipment (fueling, greasing, checking fluids, clean air filters, etc.)
* Traveling to and from jobs; Driving, hauling and loading equipment or materials.
* Cleaning Site - Removal of tools and supplies, packing of truck, and general housekeeping of site.
* Stocking Trucks - Keep trucks stocked and ready with chains, straps and materials
* Professional Experience - Making the process a professional endeavor and generating a positive experience for the customer, others involved in the project and the team.
* Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
* Valid Drivers License
* 1-3 years of experience in Pipe Laying (preferred)

Working Conditions:
* This position involves work at construction sites where duties will be performed both indoors and outdoors. Both cold and warm conditions will be experienced, including inclement weather.
* Overtime may be required to meet project deadlines.
* Hours are often 10 or more hours a day, 50 or more hours a week, as work demands. Work hours can be seasonal.
