Responsible for the operation of up to 3 multi spindle screw machines. Observe safety rules. Perform changeovers. Performs daily PM's on equipment. Maintain accurate records. Maintain production reports. Maintain and keep equipment clean and operating. Q.C. checks and data entry. General Housekeeping. Trash and scrap removal. Requirements: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Forward bending while operating manual machines Operate machine controls positioned 3 to 5 feet from shop floor Operate a forklift Standing and walking continuously for 8 hours per workday Forward bending while loading and unloading machine and operating controls Basic knowledge of quality instrumentation and quality systems Capable of reading blueprints, solid math and computer skills, basic hand tool skills. Accuracy in tasks. Able to receive directions from teammates. Be a team player. Solid communication and interpersonal skills.

  • High School Diploma, GED or Trade School preferred
  • Minimum of 2+ years experience operating industrial machine equipment
  • Proficient in operating various machine/control configurations and have experience in the manufacture of tool and die parts
  • Capable of operating Manual and CNC machinery
  • Capable of reading and interpreting Blueprints and grinding to tolerance of + - .0001
  • Lifting, carrying, and bending frequently with parts varying from 2 to 50 pounds with average weight of 5 to 10 pounds
  • Forward bending while operating manual machines
  • Lifting and carrying of parts and or fixtures frequently
  • Operate machine controls positioned 4 to 5 feet from shop floor
  • Able to perform at work benches set at a height of 36 - 40
  • Standing and walking continuously for 8 hours per workday
  • Forward bending while loading and unloading machine and operating controls
  • Work with minimal supervision
