Pipeline - LaborerSalary/Hourly (DOE) : $18 - $26 Summary/Objective: The Laborer position is responsible for supporting oilfield operations. Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes:
- Basic knowledgeof hand tools, power tools and heavy equipment used in oilfield maintenance.
- Assist in installing and repairing piping, valves, pumps, pipelines and motors.
- Willingness to cross train and work among other divisions when needed.
- Successfully complete selected/required Operator Qualifications (OQ's).
- Practical knowledge of parts tools and supplies used in oilfield maintenance.
- Basic knowledge of pressurized vessel and piping principles.
- Working knowledge of load securement requirements.
- Must complete all required paperwork within an appropriate time frame.
- Demonstrate the ability to assemble flow lines, production lines and other pipelines associated with the oilfield per operator requirements, and best practices.
- Demonstrate the ability to appropriately finish construction sites such as dyke raking, housekeeping, etc.
Essential Functions:
- Conduct themselves in a professional manner always in the execution of their duties.
- Maintains acceptable personal hygiene, professional appearance and is clean-shaven daily.
- Required to attend all safety meetings unless approved otherwise by Manager.
- Must be able to maintain the cleanliness of all company equipment and vehicles.
- Have your own housing.
- Have reliable transportation.
- Must have valid driver's license / CDL driver's license preferred or equal or greater work experience.
- Must have and maintain a clean driving record and meet the insurance requirements (if driving)
- Willing to obtain a CDL Class A Driver's License.
- Must be able to complete all safety requirements of the job
- Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen, background check, physical and fit for duty
- Demonstrate proficiency in adhering to Federal, State, Local, Customer and all company Health, Safety and Environmental rules and regulations.
Work Environment:The company will supply adequate training and equipment to perform the functions of the job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will work outside in all weather conditions. The employee is exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, cold weather, extreme heat, sustained noisy environment and vibration.Physical Demands:Must be physically able to climb stairs, sit, stand, walk, carry, push, and lift up to 75 lbs., pulling, kneeling, bending, twisting, repetitive wrist and hand movements for extended periods of time, and perform numerous tasks that require physical agility and manual dexterity as well as mental acuity throughout shift.Position type and expected hours of work: Must be flexible. The typical schedule is M-Sat.
