What is the position?
The Pipeline Project Manager is responsible for overseeing key projects for Asset Integrity Capital Maintenance that ensure safety and compliance for natural gas facilities. This role focuses on In-Line Inspection (ILI) assessments, remediation, and cathodic protection upgrades.
What are the responsibilities?
As a Pipeline Project Manager, you will:
- Lead and manage projects from scope development to execution, ensuring timely and budget-conscious completion.
- Develop project plans covering land acquisition, permitting, procurement, construction, and risk management.
- Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, aligning project plans with operational, economic, and environmental considerations.
- Oversee contractor negotiations and manage relationships with internal and external experts.
- Communicate project updates effectively to stakeholders.
What are the requirements?
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (advanced degree)
- PE license or PMP preferred
- 8+ years of experience in the energy industry, with a focus on pipeline projects, transmission integrity, or cathodic protection.
- Strong project management experience, especially with large-diameter pipelines, in oil, gas, or midstream companies
- Proficiency in MS Project, MS Word, Visio, and related software
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
