Pipeline Technician (Truck Driver - Heavy Equipment)

Predominantly drives a heavy truck with a capacity greater than 26,000 GVW, hauling heavy equipment related to pipeline construction. The position requires consistent incorporation of the company's safety initiatives into daily tasks. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The essential job duties for this position are listed below: Safely secure, load/unload, and transport pipeline construction equipment Maintain tractor/trailer in accordance with all D.O.T. Regulations Acquire State and Parish/ County permits Perform pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections of fluid levels on oil, water, fuel for vehicle prior to operation. Perform daily electronic pre/post trip equipment inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with DOT guidelines. Responsible for safe operation and maintenance of various types of heavy equipment.
