Skills necessary for success are self-motivation, organization, direct communication and a positive attitude.Prep Cook/Pizza Cook Responsibilities:Maintain a clean work station and appearance in our open kitchen environmentSet up station and keep it fully stocked for serviceFollow daily station prep list as determined by Culinary ManagementCook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staffAnswer, report and follow direction of Culinary ManagementBreak down station and properly store any leftover foodEnsure that food comes out in high quality and in a timely fashionComply with institutional and county sanitation regulations and safety standardsMaintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and guestsComplete additional tasks as assigned by Culinary ManagementPrep Cook/Pizza Cook Requirements and Additional Skills:Self-motivationOrganizationDirect communicationPositive attitudeGeneral understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and proceduresAccuracy and speed in executing assigned tasksFood Handler's Certificate, ServSafe Certification, and/or Culinary Diploma are all assets, but not required.Prep Cook/Pizza Cook Compensation:Starting at $17/hour and up.
