We are looking for an experienced pizza maker to join our team. As a Pizza Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking delicious pizzas according to our recipes and customer preferences. You will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that all orders are prepared accurately and efficiently. Duties:- Prepare and cook pizzas, ensuring that they are made to order and meet quality standards- Follow recipes and portion guidelines to ensure consistency in taste and presentation- Monitor food stock levels and communicate with the kitchen manager to ensure timely ingredient replenishment- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following food safety and sanitation guidelines- Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and dough presses- Collaborate with other kitchen staff members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods- Assist with inventory management, including tracking ingredient usage and reporting any discrepancies
Qualifications:- Previous experience as a Pizza Cook or in a similar role within the food industry- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices- Strong understanding of basic math and retail math for accurate portioning and inventory management- Familiarity with POS systems for order processing and cash handling- Excellent customer service skills to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
