Summary of PositionThe Placement Program Supervisor is essential in Kintegra Health's Human Resource & Clinical Teams. The role oversees all aspects of the organization's placement and coordination of volunteers, interns, residents, and clinical student programs. This role is responsible for continually planning, developing, administering, and evaluating its functions as it grows. This also includes recruiting, screening, selection, training, placement, and recognition of relevant roles that report to the Placement Program Supervisor. This role collaborates with leaders and staff to develop and implement best practices, policies, and procedures in managing an extensive community volunteer and internship program. The Placement Program Supervisor advises leaders on sensitive concerns and resolutions related to the programs. The role's responsibility is to collaborate closely with recruiters to develop a pipeline of candidates that will be maintained and followed up on as time passes and candidates receive credentials that will add value to the organization. Education & Experience: A bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent employment experience is required. Database management, data analyses, and data reporting are also required. Experience with Epic, Dentrix, Excel, Smart Sheets, and Microsoft Applications is desirable. - Strategy Development: Implement an overall strategy for the student internship/externship, fellowship, residency, and volunteer programs that includes clear goals, objectives, and action plans. Develop metrics that express the growth of the placement program and how it supports the internal development and external recruitment of job seekers on all levels into the organization.
- Recruitment and Selection: Support existing recruitment processes and create procedures that attract top-quality student interns/externs, fellows, residents, and volunteers. Advertise all programs through various outlets, establish partnerships with relevant organizations and institutions, and implement a recruitment and selection process that identifies the best candidates for the program. Engage in job fairs and other functions, facilitating placement of individuals into the recruitment pipeline.
- Orientation and Training: Develop and deliver a comprehensive orientation and training program for interns/externs, fellows, residents, and volunteers to ensure that they understand the organization's policies, procedures, expectations, and safety protocols. Participate in all new hire orientations and assist in coordinating as needed.
- Mentorship and Supervision: Establish a mentorship and supervision system that matches interns/externs, fellows, residents, and volunteers with appropriate mentors and supervisors who can provide guidance, support, and feedback throughout their participation in the program.
- Progress Monitoring and Support: Implement a system for monitoring the progress of interns/externs, fellows, residents, and volunteers and provide ongoing support and feedback.
- Relationship Management: Develop and maintain relationships with networking associations, partner organizations, academic institutions, and other stakeholders to foster collaborations, promote the program, and identify opportunities for joint initiatives.
- Collaboration with Other Departments: Collaborate with various departments to ensure that the internship/externship, fellowship, residency, and volunteer programs are aligned with the organization's overall goals and priorities. This will involve partnering with the HR Director to get approval for event participation, marketing, and advertising.
- Evaluation and Continuous Improvement: Develop an evaluation framework to assess the program's effectiveness and recommend improvements.
- Dashboard & Database Maintenance: Develop, Organize, and Maintain reporting and placement records in the Kintegra Placement Dashboard. Provide reports as requested by the Credentialing Manager, Vice President of Human Resources, and Senior Management.
- Regulatory Compliance: Compliance with allFederal, State, and Local Laws in addition to Kintegra Health's Policies, Guidelines, and Best Practices.
