Responsibilities•Research case law and premises liability, and gather insurance policies, medical expenses, medical records, and other evidence relevant to the case•Record and update the status of all case files in the case management system•Review, modify, and draft motions, discovery responses, demand letters, pleadings, claims, subpoenas, memorandums, and other legal documents•Delegate tasks and manage a team of litigation paralegals, legal assistants, personal injury paralegals, case managers, and legal secretary•Oversee personal injury case files from beginning to end•Evaluate potential personal injury claims and provide legal advice to prospective clients accordinglyQualifications•A minimum of 3 years of personal injury litigation or trial experience in medical malpractice, wrongful death, personal injury, or civil litigation practice areas is necessary•A good understanding of personal injury law/ tort law, medical terminology, wrongful death, civil and family law, and medical malpractice is desired•Superb drafting, research, negotiation, and communication skills are preferred
