We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Planning Lead Advisor to join our dynamic financial planning team. The Planning Lead Advisor will play a critical role in delivering comprehensive financial planning services to our clients. This position involves reviewing financial plans, presenting strategies, and collaborating with both clients and team members to ensure optimal financial outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and provide constructive feedback on eMoney plans prepared by Senior Planning Associates to ensure accuracy and alignment with client goals.
  • Present and explain eMoney plans to Joint Work clients, addressing their questions and providing actionable insights.
  • Draft and send post-meeting follow-up emails to clients and prospects, summarizing discussions, outlining next steps, and maintaining clear communication.
  • Recommend and implement advanced financial planning strategies as outlined by the planning team's standard protocols, ensuring strategies are tailored to meet clients' specific needs.
  • Participate in prospect calls with the Director of Financial Planning to effectively communicate the value of our planning services and secure new client engagements.
  • Collaborate with clients to gather necessary information and develop comprehensive financial plans that address their short-term and long-term financial goals.
  • Provide ongoing support to clients by monitoring their financial plans, making adjustments as necessary, and addressing any issues or concerns that arise.
  • Ensure all financial planning activities comply with industry regulations and company policies. Maintain accurate and detailed records of client interactions and financial plans.
  • Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and continuing education requirements to maintain certification and enhance professional expertise.

Skills and Experience:

  • Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation required or extensive background in tax or estate planning.
  • 3+ years of experience in financial planning.
  • Proficiency in financial planning software, including eMoney, and a strong understanding of advanced financial planning concepts and strategies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and team members.
