Job Description:
Your role We are looking for a Planning Specialist to work with a large advisory team in the Cincinnati Market. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, exceptionally organized, and has a passion for helping others create sound financial plans. This position works closely with the senior Wealth Management Advisor in charge of planning for the team. Responsibilities include: • Engaging with clients and prospects to help them understand and articulate their financial goals with respect to retirement, education, wealth preservation, and other. • Developing coherent and realistic financial plans that address the interrelated concerns - risk tolerance, growth requirements, time frames, investment instruments and structure, tax sensitivity, legal/regulatory considerations, etc. - involved in complex planning situations. • Quantifying and modeling financial goals to clarify and illuminate decision points for advisor use and presentation to clients. • Collect and input data into a range of planning software. Create reports, spreadsheets, etc. based on that data for presentation to clients. • Proactive collaboration with team members to maintain a positive, productive team environment. Your team You will be working with a large team in Cincinnati, Ohio that services over 250 households with approximately $1 billion assets under management. Your expertise • 2 years' experience in a financial planning role • Series 7 and 66 licenses • The ability to work under pressure and manage complex situations and deadlines while maintaining a high attention to detail. • Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills. • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate well on a team. • Good command of Microsoft Office and comfort learning and using complex planning software. • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, with a Finance or Planning focus a plus. • CFP designation a plus.
