Plant Administrator IILocation: Wilson, NCJob Type: Full-Time, PermanentJob Summary:Potters Industries is seeking a Plant Administrator II to assist in all aspects of office administration, focusing primarily on Administrative, HR, and Purchasing duties. This role will include tasks such as filing records, maintaining correspondence, handling payroll, scheduling meetings, and overseeing office supplies. The Plant Administrator II will support various operational functions and ensure the smooth running of office-related activities.Compensation & Benefits:
- Annual Salary: $53,000, paid bi-weekly
- Shift Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 or 4:00 PM

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Operates in compliance with all health, safety, and environmental rules and regulations
- Perform all duties of a Plant Administrator I
- Payroll: Timesheet and timecard processing
- HR Duties: Maintain employee records, assist with on-boarding, benefits administration, and new hire paperwork
- Coordinate temporary employees as needed
- Assist employees with ADP and other HR applications
- Track and maintain employee vacation and PTO time
- Schedule and coordinate annual physicals, flu shots, and other health-related activities for employees
- Maintain and update employee postings
- Assist warehouse with administrative duties such as copying, faxing, and collection
- Order and maintain office supplies and equipment
- Coordinate office luncheons and meetings
- Maintain and update the BOSS (Customer Contact Base)
- Purchasing: Create and process purchase orders for raw materials via SAP
- Coordinate receiving of production goods and maintain receiving documentation
- Create and maintain inventory counting sheets; perform audits of inventory if discrepancies occur
- Record incoming raw cullet and maintain associated documentation (receiving, invoicing, BOLs)
- Process and enter waste tickets in SAP
- Process and document vendor verifications and invoices
- Reconcile credit card statements and expense allocations
Additional Duties & Responsibilities:
- Serve as a Notary
- Order spare parts for the plant
- Maintain, document, and schedule safety/HSE training for plant employees
- Coordinate safety training and annual forms for contractors
- Serve as an ISO Internal and External Auditor and Trainer
- Maintain CAPA, SWAT, and Risk Assessment documents
- Process, document, and maintain Workers' Compensation injury reports
- Post OSHA 300 logs
- Maintain waste management surveys (garbage, scrap metal, waste oil)
- Document MRB meetings and related records
- Update regulatory permits as necessary
Job Qualifications/Requirements:Education:
- High School Diploma/GED required
- College degree in Business or equivalent experience
Experience:
- 3 to 5 years of administrative experience
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
Skills & Knowledge:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Experience using Microsoft Teams for chats, calls, and meetings
- SAP experience
- Strong administrative skills, including report writing, scheduling, and filing
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with employees and visitors
Working Conditions:
- Primarily office environment with some time spent in the manufacturing plant
