Plant Clerk Your role: As Plant Clerk, you will be responsiblefor ensuringoperating efficiency through theeffective utilization of assigned resources.You will performcomplexand confidential administrative duties while communicatingwithvarious individuals acrosstheorganization and industry.You will be required to utilize independent discretion and judgment to provide support across the facility.To succeed, you must be able to: Deliver results in first-time situations by inspiring others and working to earn trust every day Serve others with understanding, respect, and care Operate with simplicity, clarity and transparency Deal with and drive change Organize, prioritize and own multiple tasks while meeting or exceeding deadlines Learn and apply new technology, and share your knowledge with others Above all you will be expected to carry out all your activities with reliability, integrity, compliance and in a safe, environmentally responsible, and efficient manner Your responsibilities: Monitor and resolve Accounts Payable exceptionsfor items needing goods receipts. Maintain documentation and permits in organized files (employee, safety paperwork, etc.) Assure all informational releases, policy related posters, etc. as provided by functional departments are properly displayed as instructed Reviewinventory movement through computer systems and paperwork Oversee sorting and distribution of mail plus prepare outgoing mail/packages Support with coordination and cleanup of activities, lunches, room set ups for audits, etc.as well as disseminate information to facility team members Maintain inventory stock of office supplies and order as needed Provide office support in answering phones, receiving/directing vendors/visitors, and paperwork/access cards to contractors Operate truck scale, recording information accurately Be the face of the facility, building relationships with growers, truck drivers, vendors, and contractors, providing them with world-class service Maintain and update auto answer features in phone system, such as extension directory, voicemail directory, etc. Ability to maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive information Provide administrative support to the local Administrative Manager Provide administrative support to manufacturing function, including daily and monthly reconciliation to inventory on-hand balances Ensure all shipments are posted and accurate and all required paperwork is verified Monitoroutbound consumablesfor discrepancies and correct reporting (including packaging, not limited to bags, seals, ingredients, and pallets) Essential skills and experience: High School diploma orGEDequivalent Minimum of 1years' experience in anoffice or administrative type position Basic skills with computer applications, to include Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn and use new computer programs Good to have: Associates Degree with2+years of office administrationexperience Understanding of local employment laws and payroll practices Experience with ERP or Procure to Pay systems Physical requirements and working conditions (with or without reasonable accommodation): Ability to perform work at a computer and other administrative/managerial tasks Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as is required by the operating areas (i.e. safety glasses, protective footwear, hard hat, hearing protection and, at times, a respirator) Ability to occasionally work a machine-paced continuous process that operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with conditions which include: Hot/Cold temperatures (inclement weather) Indoor/Outdoor environment Dusty environment(to include Wheat/Gluten allergens) Noisy environment Frequent m
