Job DetailsResponsibilities:1. Oversee the full cycle accounting operations of the manufacturing plant, including the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls designed to mitigate risk. 2. Conduct variance analysis to understand the difference between planned and actual performance. Use this data to advise on future budgeting and financial plans.3. Generate ad-hoc reports as required by the management, providing valuable insights into the financial operations and performance of the plant.4. Develop and implement financial strategies for the manufacturing plant, aligning them with the overall business goals.5. Coordinate with other department heads to develop budgets, understand departmental financial needs, and ensure financial efficiency across all operations.6. Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards, maintaining the integrity of the plant's financial operations.7. Lead and mentor a team of financial professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.Qualifications:1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. An advanced degree or professional certification (CPA, CMA, etc.) is preferred.2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry, preferably in defense manufacturing.3. Extensive knowledge of full cycle accounting, variance analysis, and ad-hoc reporting.4. Proven experience in managing complex financial operations and teams.5. Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data.6. Excellent leadership and communication skills.7. Proficiency in using financial software and advanced Excel skills.8. Knowledge of applicable laws, codes, and regulations related to financial operations in the manufacturing industry.9.
