**Job Description**
As Plant Controller, you will be responsible for the financial operations of the plant in Charlotte, NC and will be the primary business partner for the plant manager and plant department leaders.
+ Oversee all financial activities of the manufacturing plant, including budgeting, forecasting, development of production costs, and financial reporting.
+ Partner with the plant manager to develop and execute strategic financial plans aligned with the plant's overall objectives.
+ Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, provide recommendations for improvement, and drive measures to increase performance.
+ Lead the development of accurate financial forecasts and conduct variance analysis to track actual performance against forecasts, identifying key risks and suggesting mitigation plans.
+ Collaborate with departments such as manufacturing, engineering, procurement, and logistics to drive cost improvement initiatives and optimize overall plant performance.
+ Ensure high quality of data in ERP and financial reporting systems. Identify and implement improvements to financial processes, reporting, and systems.
+ Coordinate with the international production networks of the business units Assembly Technology and Linear Motion Technology including close cooperation with plant in Queretaro, Mexico.
+ Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as local and international regulations.
+ Supervise team of inventory control associates.
**Qualifications**
**Basic Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
+ 5+ years of experience in a financial management role, preferably in a manufacturing environment
+ Strong understanding of cost accounting, financial analysis, and internal controls
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
+ Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ MBA or other relevant advanced degree
+ CMA or CPA certification
+ Experience working with international teams and coordinating financial activities across multiple locations, particularly with a plant in Mexico.
+ Proficiency in SAP, Business Warehouse, Power BI
+ Additional language skills are a plus factor: Spanish, German
