**About the Role:**
Jefferson Wells is partnering with one of our top clients to identify an experienced **Plant Controller** to join a thriving manufacturing team in a state of the art facility! This is a high-visibility role with significant opportunities to drive strategic initiatives and impact key financial outcomes. You will lead a team of 5-7 providing oversight on financial operations and diving into detail as needed to ensure accuracy and efficiency. **Key Responsibilities:**
+ Oversee all financial aspects of plant operations, with a strong emphasis on cost accounting and analysis.
+ Implement and improve ERP systems (SAP preferred) to enhance financial reporting and operational efficiency.
+ Collaborate with the executive team to align financial strategies with operational goals.
+ Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team, providing guidance on complex issues.
+ Dive into transaction details when necessary, ensuring the accuracy of financial statements and regulatory compliance.
+ Drive problem-solving initiatives, optimizing processes to support a growing operation.
**Qualifications:**
+ 10+ years of relevant experience within a manufacturing setting, with solid expertise in cost accounting.
+ **At least 5 years in a manufacturing plant environment - mandatory** .
+ Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
+ Proven leadership and team management experience.
+ Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to contribute at both tactical and strategic levels.
+ Master's Degree (MBA) highly preferred; CPA is a plus.
