Plant Controller on our leadership team, you'll be at the heart of our operations, guiding financial strategy and influencing key decisions at the plant level. This role is all about impact-partnering closely with cross-functional leaders to drive efficiencies, shape budgets, and support a culture of continuous improvement. What you will do: - Assist and advise the Plant Manager and management team on all financial matters pertaining to the facility
- Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts; reporting any variances
- Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements
- Coordinate and prepare regulatory reporting
- Support the month-end and year-end close process
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
- Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
- Lead and manage the financial department staff
- Provide strong leadership and support to the organization through change management processes, ensuring smooth transitions and effective adoption of new initiatives
- Other duties as assigned
What you will need: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA preferred
- 7+ years of experience in a financial management role, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
- Proven experience in preparing budgets and financial forecasts
- Proficiency in Excel required and ERP (SAP knowledge advantageous)
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent communication skills
- Demonstrated experience in leading change management initiatives and guiding teams through periods of transition
