We have an immediate opportunity for a Plant Electrician/Mechanic to handle maitenance, installation and project work to create an efficient and successful operation in our Milton, NY High Speed Bottling Plant.Brooklyn Bottling of Milton, New York, Inc. is a leading co-packing company specializing in beverages such as juice cocktails, teas, energy drinks, seltzers, sports drinks, flavored waters, and soft drinks. With our extensive experience and innovative approach, we have established ourselves as a trusted partner for major brands in the industry.The salary range is from $25 - $31 per hour, additional salary will be considered depending on experience. - Support all process and packaging equipment.
- Investigate and correct equipment problems.
- Installs, troubleshoots, repairs & replaces motor starters, variable frequency drives, fuses, light bulbs, circuit breakers, push buttons, electric switches, and other electrical equipment following electrical specifications.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and maintain all plant equipment through the application of sound PLC troubleshooting techniques and superior repair methodology.
- Read electrical and electronic schematics basic hydraulic and pneumatic circuits.
- Collaborate with other maintenance and production team members to achieve production goals.
- Handles assigned preventive maintenance work orders and project work relating to modification, troubleshooting, and installation of equipment, plus performance of general shop maintenance assignments.
- Adhere to safety guidelines, GMP practices and regulations
- Observe plant safety rules and procedures
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to contribute to continuous improvement.

Position Requirements Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Industrial Electrician in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Proficient in reading electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with industrial safety standards and procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent with completion of an accredited electrician apprenticeship program and/or a valid electrician license.
- Valid electrician license.
- Additional certifications in industrial electrical systems is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial electrical work with low voltage control through 480v 3phase power or related and transferable skills.
