Job Title: Plant EngineerJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Plant Engineer to join our team in Lebanon, OH. As the third largest producer of inks in North America with subsidiaries in Europe and South America, we offer a complete line of ink and coating solutions technologyfor commercial, packaging, and digital applications. In this role, you will manage facility and manufacturing improvement projects, develop plans, and produce project budgets, including ROI calculations. You will support the maintenance department in troubleshooting building and equipment repairs, conduct testing of new equipment, and make modifications to existing processes and equipment. You will also work with operations management to modify processes and equipment work instructions, and train other employees as needed.Responsibilities+ Testing and developing new equipment+ Improving and refining existing equipment+ Incorporating design and budgets for projects using Project Management+ Maintaining a physical and supportive role with multiple facility Maintenance and Manufacturing groups+ Assisting plant maintenance with advanced troubleshooting+ Providing floor support to troubleshoot process problems using continuous improvement and root cause analysis techniques+ Ensuring that products and systems comply with applicable codes+ Reporting routine activities on a monthly basis and keeping relevant staff members updated more frequently on rapidly moving projects+ Initiating or supplying documentation for capital projects using TPM tools within the EEM pillar and the six-step management methodology+ Supporting all new equipment and processes with in-house training classes, as determined by departmental and company needsEssential Skills+ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering+ Experience with AutoCAD+ 2+ years of experience in process improvement within a chemical or similar environment+ Experience in troubleshooting equipment+ Experience with TPM or Continuous Improvement+ Experience managing contractors as a Project Manager+ Knowledge of Six Sigma+ Experience with Kaizen+ Experience with robotics+ Experience with automation/PLC programming+ Experience working in environments with hazardous materialsWork EnvironmentThis position is based at our plant in Lebanon, OH, which employs around 75 people. As the only engineer on-site, you will play a crucial role in supporting the plant's engineering needs. The work environment includes advanced manufacturing and maintenance facilities, and you will be required to adhere to safety protocols, especially when dealing with hazardous materials.
