Job Description:
Controls engineer: Develop designs for electrical processes and equipment for new and existing facilities. Communicate with other associates to effectively coordinate the work. Supervise contract engineers, draftsmen, and CAD operators in the preparation of electrical drawings, specifications, estimates, documentation and other activities needed to accomplish project objectives. Ensure that drawings and specifications produced are accurate, clear, and concise. Regularly review the progress of projects during design, fabrication, and installation to ensure expenditures will not exceed the authorized amounts and that schedules are met. Maintain communication with all plants to provide consultation and assist in the solution of engineering problems. Manage and coordinate projects in the department, often directing other technical personnel in the process.Mechanical engineer: Oversee the installation, operation, maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment such as conveying systems, automated stacking equipment, batching operations and combustion furnace operations. Support mechanical utilities such as fire protection, compressed air, cooling water, purity water and high vacuum systems. Read, modify and create technical drawings, schematics and computer generated models. Provide training and technical support to Maintenance and Production Departments. Investigate equipment failures and make recommendations for solutions to manufacturing processes. Generate mechanical requirements and estimates for projects and equipment upgrades. Initiate and lead capitol projects and drive to completion while keeping on task with budget and schedule. Work with contractors, vendors and suppliers to complete assigned project work.Process engineer: Maximize quality, capacity, and yield at minimum cost. Work with high temperature, PLC controlled furnaces and equipment to improve and optimize the high volume production environment. Provide leadership in efforts to reduce cost and improve production from existing equipment. Lead complex projects in a team-based environment. Identify and specify new equipment to improve production. Manage equipment installation and start-up. Train production operators and work collaboratively with them to improve processes. Utilize lean and/or continuous improvement methodologies to facilitate process improvements and teach others. Base: $90-$105kBonus: Up to 5% annual bonus potentialRelocation provided case by case
