About Our Client Our client is a family-owned, global food manufacturer. They have a diverse portfolio of well-known brands and they play a significant role in the global market. The Plant HR Manager will support 100 employees, some being in a union. Union experience is required.
Job Description - Manage recruitment, onboarding, and employee development to ensure the plant has a skilled and engaged workforce.
- Collaborate closely with union representatives to negotiate contracts, resolve disputes, and maintain positive labor relations.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, health and safety regulations, and company policies within the plant.
- Develop and implement HR strategies that align with production goals and improve employee performance and retention.
- Lead initiatives to enhance workplace culture, addressing employee concerns and fostering a safe, inclusive environment.
