PLANT DRY CLEANING PRESSERPOSITION SUMMARY:Edit Tx LLC dba Tide Cleaners is seeking hardworking, team oriented, and reliable individuals to join our dry-cleaning clothing presser team. This position does not require any prior experience within the dry-cleaning industry but does require a commitment to learn and work within a team atmosphere. RESPONSIBILITIES: Know the basics of pressing and be able to adapt to the challenges of properly finishing new and seasonal fashion styles and fabrics. Accurately but efficiently iron and press clean articles by hand or by machine steam and vacuum. Learn the basic operations of pressing station(s) they will operate, and the particulars of the items commonly pressed at that station. Waterproof garments and apply other finishes (stain guard, wrinkle release, etc.). Ensure that pressing equipment is working properly and well maintained. Ability to follow set procedures and work with little supervision. Ability to read care labels, distinguish fabrics by touch, and distinguish colors and odors (i.e. chemicals/solvents). General housekeeping to support a benchmark store appearance. Ability to lift between 25 - 50 lbs., bend and reach over head to place garments on rails, grasp, handle, and manipulate objects of various size. Must be able to move from various work situations to distribute garments. Ability to work in hot/humid environment. Ability to recognize numbers and perform basic math skills. Participate in ongoing education and training. Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Other duties as assigned.Shift and Schedule

PLANT DRY CLEANING PRESSERRESUMEN DE LA POSICIN:Edit Tx LLC dba Tide Cleaners est buscando personas trabajadoras, orientadas al trabajo en equipo y confiables para unirse a nuestro equipo de dry-cleaning. Esta posicin no requiere ninguna experiencia previa dentro de la industria de dry-cleaning, pero s requiere un compromiso de aprender y trabajar en un ambiente de equipo. RESPONSABILIDADES:- Conocer los fundamentos del planchado y ser capaz de adaptarse a los retos de dar el acabado adecuado a estilos y tejidos de moda nuevos y de temporada.- Planchar y prensar artculos limpios de forma precisa pero eficiente, a mano o con mquina de vapor y vaco.- Apreder las operaciones bsicas de la(s) estacin(es) de planchado que utilizarn y las particularidades de los artculos que se planchan habitualmente en esa estacin.- Inspecionar prendas y aplicar otros acabados (antimanchas, antiarrugas, etc.).- Asegurarse de que el equipo de planchado funciona correctamente y est bien mantenido.- Capacidad para seguir procedimientos establecidos y trabajar con poca supervisin.- Capacidad para leer etiquetas de cuidado, distinguir tejidos al tacto y distinguir colores y olores (es decir, productos qumicos/solventes).- Limpieza general para mantener un aspecto de tienda de referencia.- Capacidad para levantar entre 25 y 50 libras, agacharse y estirarse por encima de la cabeza para colocar las prendas en los rales, agarrar, manejar y manipular objetos de diversos tamaos.
