The primary role of the tech is to work as a leader on the maintenance team to support company objectives with respect to maintaining and enhancing equipment to support production requirements. Responsibilities include setup, repair, install, maintain machinery equipment including; mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, special projects, measuring and calibrating equipment, performing preventative maintenance duties. The role requires a person with leadership abilities and strong mechanical and or electrical aptitude (multi-craft a plus), which can work with internal and external customers, and can work as part of the maintenance team and has demonstrated the ability to work independently. Along with being actively involved in the support of Safety. Quality and Good Manufacturing Practices and Preventive Maintenance programs.Location: Fairport, NYShift:12-hour nights, 6pm - 6am, 2 nights on, 2 nights off, 3 nights on, 3 nights off, and so on. All positions require overtime as needed during the week and on weekends based on business needs. You will be compensated at time and a half for any overtime beyond 40 hours.
