We believe that our people are what makes us great and strive to offer our employees opportunities for advancement.We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Process Engineering Manager, based out of our Charlestown, Indiana location. The Role:
  • Leads the Process Engineering Team who is responsible for all aspects of the design, manufacture and implementation of manufacturing processes and equipment.
  • Provide concepts and designs for the layout of the plant
  • Focuses on continuous improvement of process, cost, quality, and production
  • Manages all production engineering projects and works cross functionally to resolve engineering or other related problems
  • Works directly with customers ensuring that the PPAP is carried out per customer requirements
  • Communicates effectively with suppliers to guarantee that all incoming products, packaging, fixtures and purchased components meet requirements of production and customer requirements
  • Works with other Mitchell Plant PE teams and implements best practices at Charlestown
  • Works with Program Managers and Accounting teams to establish BOM for new projects and any changes to the existing processes
Our Ideal Candidate:
  • Has 5+ years in automotive, plastics experience; 3+ years in managing/leadership
  • Has an Engineering Degree (Mechanical preferred)
  • Has a strong understanding of plastics molding & assembly manufacturing equipment
  • Has extensive knowledge of and ability to understand specific product, process requirements, product development, and submission requirements (APQP).
  • Possesses an excellent work ethic: Highly self-motivated, self-driven, ability to multitask
  • Is creative and forward thinking
  • Is capable of working simultaneously on multiple projects and in a team environment
