Plant Manager – Beverage Manufacturing (Hickory-Lenoir-Morganton-Marion Area, NC)
Job Summary:
The Plant Manager oversees all aspects of beverage manufacturing operations, ensuring efficient production, quality control, safety, and compliance with regulatory standards. The role includes managing staff, optimizing processes, and coordinating with corporate teams to achieve performance goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily production for 5 production lines, maintenance, and supply chain functions.
- Ensure KPI's and operational objectives are met
- Ensure compliance with FDA, SQF, HACCP, OSHA, GMP, and safety regulations.
- Lead and mentor plant staff, focusing on team development and performance.
- Manage budgets, production schedules, and inventory.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives for efficiency and cost control.
- Provide support actively for regulatory agencies and customer through participation visits, tours and audits
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, food science, or related field.
- 10+ years of manufacturing experience with at least 4+ years in a mangerial role
- 3+ years of Bottling, Dairy or Beverage manufacturing experience
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
