ANA is growing and scaling and we are seeking a Plant Manager to join our growing team in an onsite position in Spartanburg, South Carolina. As Plant Manager at the Spartanburg Operations Site, you will oversee and manage production shift employees and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and quantity standards while owning and enhancing lean methodologies across ANA plants.The Plant Manager will be responsible for the overall performance, efficiency, and profitability of the manufacturing plant. You will lead a team of employees and collaborate with cross-functional departments to achieve production goals, maintain quality standards, and optimize operational processes. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and a solid understanding of manufacturing operations.This role is fully on-site, and the work schedule is typically weekdays from 7:30 am - 5:00 pm and reports to the Director of Operations.Role & Responsibilities:Leadership and Team Management: Provide strategic leadership, guidance, and support to the plant staff, fostering a positive work culture and promoting employee engagement. Set clear performance expectations, manage performance issues, and provide regular and timely feedback to direct reports and the production team. Identify training and development needs and ensure employees receive the necessary resources and opportunities to enhance their skills. Serve as a trusted leadership figure to front office staff, providing guidance and support in the absence of direct managerial oversight due to time zone differences, fostering a positive and productive work environment while ensuring alignment with organizational goals and standardsOperational Excellence: Oversee day-to-day plant operations for two manufacturing plants and offices, ensuring the efficient utilization of resources, optimizing production processes, and minimizing downtime. Develop and implement operational strategies to improve productivity, reduce costs, and enhance overall plant performance. Collaborate with various departments, such as production, planning, purchasing, quality control, inventory control, inside sales, and logistics, to ensure seamless coordination and achievement of production targetsQuality Control and Compliance: Establish and maintain quality control procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Monitor product quality, conduct regular inspections, and actively participate in the reduction of MRB and machine-down costs. Collaborate with the Quality Control Team to implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives and drive a culture of quality excellenceHealth, Safety, and Environmental Compliance: Champion and enforce strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices. Develop and implement safety programs, conduct regular inspections, and ensure a safe working environment for all employees. Investigate incidents and near-miss accidents, identify root causes, and implement preventive measures to mitigate risksBudgeting and Cost Control: Develop and manage the plant's budget, closely monitoring expenses, and identifying areas for cost optimization. Implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce waste throughout the manufacturing process. Collaborate with the purchasing team to ensure the availability of necessary materials and supplies while optimizing costs. Final compensation will be determined by a of factors, such as candidate's qualifications, experience, and skills, as well as pay equity considerations.You must be based in the United States and authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
