Job description: Our client delivers top-quality products to the battery market.They need a Dynamic Plant Manager to lead this growing operation anddrive continuous improvement in safety and operational efficiency.The plant manager is responsible for all aspects of plant operations,focused on developing and executing operational strategy to drive asafety culture and achieve high level of operational excellence. .Responsibilities:Safety Management:- Direct development and execution of the annual safety improvementplan.- Achieving a best-in-class safety culture by significant engagementby all plant associates.- Lead a robust investigation and review process to preventrecurrences.Operational Excellence:- Foster an environment of curiosity and continuous improvement.- Oversee plant operations, including production scheduling, qualitycontrol, and maintenance.- Implement and monitor KPIs to drive continuous improvement andachieve operational goals.- Optimize production processes: increase efficiency, reduce downtimeand enhance quality.- Manage plant budgets, control costs, and ensure effective resourceutilization.Leadership and Team Management:- Lead, mentor and develop staff, fostering collaborative andhigh-performing work environment.- Conduct performance reviews, provide constructive feedback to ensurealignment with goals.- Coordinate departments ensuring smooth workflow by effectivecommunication in the Plant.Compliance and Reporting:- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and industrystandards.- Prepare and present reports on plant performance, safety metrics,and operational improvements- Address and resolve compliance issues or discrepancies in a timelymanner. Qualifications: Requirements:- BS degree engineering or related field advanced degree or relevantcertifications a plus- Minimum 5 years experience as a manager with emphasis on safety andoperational excellence.- Industry experience in specialty polymers, plastics, and automotiveis ideal.- In-depth knowledge of key processes that make a manufacturing planttick.- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and motivate a team, managingmultiple priorities.- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail and makedata-driven decisions.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills and collaborate withall levels of the organization.- Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and othermethodologies.- Familiarity with environmental regulations and compliance standards.
