HiFyve is hiring a Plant Manager in the Food Manufacturing industry in Norfolk, NE!Salary:$150k-$180k + 20% bonusShift:Full-TimeLocation:Norfolk, NEJob Duties and Responsibilities:•Develop key manufacturing plans and programs to meet budgeted unit cost and output objectives.•Coordinate activities of all manufacturing functional areas to ensure continuity towards plant goals and customer quality requirements.•Sustain production capacity synchronized with sales volume requirements, developing contingency plans as needed.•Develop and track annual operating budget for measurement towards objectives.•Maintain and improve the quality of plant assets and execute capital improvement programs to improve operating efficiencies.•Recruit, develop, coach, and lead personnel, raising the standards of performance.•Implement and manage safety and regulatory programs to ensure long-term safe operation of the facility.•Work with Purchasing and Quality Assurance to establish quality specifications for incoming raw materials.•Assist Quality Assurance in developing new products/processes and improving current products/processes.•Manage inventory of off-spec materials, including scheduling and reworking products as needed.•Maintain and improve all production log data and implement OEE system.Education Requirements:•Bachelor's degree or equivalent.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:•10 years of previous management experience in a food grade operation.•Background in liquid process and evaporation is a plus.•Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.•Strong knowledge of plant operation procedures and business system software applications.•Strong analytical and organizational skills.If you are interested, please apply.
