The Plant Manager will manage staff, ensure compliance with policies, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee all plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality control, and safety.
  • Lead a team of supervisors and staff to achieve operational goals.
  • Develop and implement strategies to maximize efficiency, minimize waste, and reduce costs.
  • Ensure that products are manufactured to meet quality standards and customer expectations.
  • Establish and maintain a safe working environment by enforcing compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Monitor and analyze production data to optimize processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage plant budgets, including forecasting and tracking operational costs.
  • Coordinate with other departments, such as supply chain and engineering, to meet production targets.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork within the plant.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in manufacturing, with 3+ years in a plant management or leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of production processes, lean manufacturing, and quality management systems.
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a diverse workforce.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach to troubleshooting issues.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing plant budgets.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in using manufacturing software and ERP systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or a related discipline.
  • Experience with managing continuous improvement initiatives and applying Kaizen principles.
