The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all daily operations of the plant from production and manufacturing to ensuring policies and procedures are followed. Please note-industrial gas experience is required!Responsibilities:1. Develop and execute the plant manufacturing budgets, ensuring cost-effective production.2. Direct and coordinate plant operations within company policies and procedures.3. Implement strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus for the plant.4. Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions in a timely manner.5. Share a trusting relationship with the workforce and recruit, manage and develop plant staff.6. Commit to plant safety procedures and ensure all health and safety regulations are met.7. Address employees' issues or grievances and administer collective bargaining agreements.8. Influence and learn from below, staying informed about the condition of the plant's machinery.9. Collect and analyze data to find places of waste or overtime and develop strategies to optimize efficiency.10. Develop systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics, and performance targets to ensure effective return on assets.Qualifications:1. Proven work experience as a Plant Manager in the industrial gas space.2. Proven managerial experience with a minimum of 5 years in a similar role.3. Adequate knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation, and human resources).4. Familiarity with industry-standard equipment and technical expertise.5. Be knowledgeable of safety, quality, productivity, demand creation, and inventory processes.6. Strong team building, decision-making, and people management skills.7. Ability to create accountability and lead by example.8. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to make effective decisions in a fast-paced environment.9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.10. Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.11. Six Sigma certification or knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles is a plus.This position is a fantastic opportunity for a Plant Manager.
