We are currently assisting our client, industry leading Tier 1 Automotive supplier, with a Plant Manager search near Detroit, MI. Reporting to the General Manager, this position will be responsible for managing the plant operations and improving employee engagement. The Plant Manager will be expected to find opportunities for building production processes, continuous improvement, building and maintaining employee relations, and overall increase of operations efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and manage the daily operational activities of all the plant's manufacturing areas
• Manage and help implement quality, cost, safety, and on-time delivery controls and processes
• Oversee and maintain high quality and productivity expectations in a cost-effective manner
• Identify areas of opportunity to improve the efficiency and quality of the production process
• Evaluate company safety protocols and procedures
• Lead and build solid working relationships with the plant employees

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 5+ years of progressively responsible leadership experience in fast-paced manufacturing environments required
• Previous experience leading operations in Tier 1 Automotive supplier required
