Title: Facility Plant Manager

Location: 100 Energy Blvd, Niagara Falls, NY 14304

Shift: Day shift position M-F 8 AM – 5 PM with on-call emergency responsibilities.

Compensation: $160,000 - $185,000 +20% Annual Bonus + 20% Long Term Incentive Bonus

Position Description: Every year, our facility processes more than 810,000 tons of waste that would otherwise have ended up in landfills. In addition to keeping waste out of landfills, being committed to ensuring safe operations and minimizing environmental impacts. They have been consistently recognized for exceptional operations, including OSHA's stringent Voluntary Protection Program Star certification. The Facility (Plant) Manager is responsible for leading and directing the “end-to-end” waste processing operations at our facility. This facility and role can become a stepping stone for your success and growth in the company. The Waste to Energy (WtE) plant thermally treats various types of waste (municipal, industrial, profile, etc.), operates significant material handling equipment, and performs metal recovery, steam sales, and power generation. Facility operations take place 24/7, with rotating shift schedules. The Facility Manager is a strong advocate for environmental and safety efforts while developing long-term positive relationships with the local community.

As Facility Plant Manager you will ensure safe and environmentally responsible operations at the site. Oversee and promote effective Health, Safety, and Environmental programs and practices. Lead site operations to consistently meet or exceed business objectives and Annual Operating Plan targets. Develop long-term maintenance, staffing, operational, and budgetary plans. Develop and execute strategy for the site to increase operational discipline, productivity, quality, reliability, and employee engagement. Champion the use of Six Sigma Lean tools in driving plant improvement to develop and implement strategic initiatives relative to inventory, capacity utilization, and growth opportunities to deliver business results and drive maturity beyond the current level. Drive cultural change, accountability, and a continuous improvement mindset throughout the organization. Develop and maintain an effective site leadership team.

Requirements:

10 years of progressive power plant experience with power generation.
