Plant Manager Position Summary:

The Plant Manager will be responsible for leading the Service Center team to drive outstanding customer service, high productivity, and maintain profitability while adhering to quality standards. Optimize processes, manage staff needs and collaborate closely with the Supply Chain and Quality team members to ensure the company's output, quality, and cost-control objectives.

Plant Manager Responsibilities:

• Oversee plant operations, ensuring compliance with safety requirements, quality standards, delivery goals, and cost objectives.
• Develop, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) on a daily, monthly, and annual basis.
• Implement production plans to consistently meet or exceed customer delivery expectations.
• Foster a culture of continuous adherence to quality standards and procedures.
• Manage staff levels, ensuring employees are trained and capable of achieving performance goals.
• Coach and develop team members to maximize their contributions to overall business success.
• Maintain relationships with local staffing agencies to support workforce needs.
• Create and improve processes and procedures to enhance plant performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor departmental performance, ensuring goals are met and corrective actions are taken when necessary.
• Oversee warehouse organization and inventory control to ensure accurate material tracking and timely order fulfillment.

Plant Manager Requirements:

The ideal candidate thrives in a results-driven environment and has a demonstrated ability to overcome obstacles and achieve business results. This individual should possess excellent planning, organizational, and communication skills, alongside a passion for lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a site management role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong background in manufacturing processes, process improvement, and lean manufacturing methodologies.
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems within a manufacturing setting.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong team-building abilities.
• Critical thinking, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Highly organized with attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and cross-functionally as part of a growing team.
• Ability to work on-site in Indianapolis IN.
