Our client, a leading food manufacturer is seeking a Plant Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have over ten years of experience with multi-site plant operations in an USDA inspected facility, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title: Plant Manager**
**Location: Greater Philadelphia, PA**
**Pay Range: $165k-$195k**
**What's the Job?**
+ Managing all plant operations including production, warehouse, maintenance, and quality
+ Ensure company standards are achieved with an emphasis on continuous improvement, providing support, structure, and training for employees
+ Execute product manufacturing goals by establishing priorities, monitoring progress, revising schedules, resolving problems and reporting results of the processing flow
+ Maintain workflow by monitoring and developing processing instructions, observing control points and equipment, monitoring staff
+ Work closely with full operation management team which includes maintenance, QA, warehouse, sanitation, finance, and human resources
**What's Needed?**
+ 10+ years plant leadership within a food manufacturing environment - USDA/meat operations required
+ Strong understanding of production and packaging operations
+ Strong understanding of USDA and FDA standards
+ Familiarity with HACCP, SQF, SSOP, and SOP
+ Food safety knowledge, certification preferred
