- Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Execute and fulfill strategic business plans presented by Executive Team. Set team and individual goals to achieve overall strategic business plan goals.
Direct operations in a pharmaceutical/nutraceutical or food processing environment experience is ideal for this role.
- Control direct labor as a percent of sales, shop floor supply spends, and factory repairs and maintenance according to budget.
- Implement cost effective systems of control over capital, operating expenditures, manpower, wages, and salaries
- Establish and monitor overall plant performance for production and distribution.
- Oversee and direct daily business operations for optimum efficiency.
- Responsible for proper staffing levels, training, and adequate back-up coverage to ensure we meet customers expectations.
- Comply with and assure Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) are followed
- Responsible for following City, State, and Federal codes and regulations including EPA and OSHA regulations and standards
- Responsible for adhering to the Safety Protocols, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Direct manufacturing personnel to maintain product quality and meet customer requirements.
- Responsible for implementing and maintaining safety standards as required by company policies.
- Lead employees in continuous improvement activities. Demonstrates confidence and assertiveness to effectively organize and implement projects and tasks while controlling operating costs.
- Responsible for creating a team environment between many different departments, fostering open communication, and breaking down barriers to efficiencies.
- Communicate with management teams to direct and confirm execution of company processes.
Education and Experience Requirements
- Minimum 10+ years of plant operations management experience required to include accountability for operations strategy, development, and execution within a high-tech environment..
- Bachelors degree - engineering or science
- Ability to manage multiple shifts and monitor overall plant performance
- Demonstrated success in the manufacturing industry, required.
- Excellent communication, problem solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
- Expert Level Experience with MS Office.
Salary $110,000 - $150,000 w/ bonus
